Thank you

hi, here is a link to the skylink bus website with timetables and prices eastmidlandsairport.com/emaweb.nsf/Content/S…

a second option would be taxi to East Midlands Parkway Train Station ( there is no actual bus service between this station and the airport) it is only a short distance from the Airport, then train into Leicester from there. here's a link (hopefully!) to the train times/prices from there:

But, of course, if you do travel by train don't buy tickets from the trainline.com as linked in post one, where they will charge you a fee to buy the same ticket you could buy on the website of one of train operating companies where they don't charge booking fees (or in this case a fee amounting to over 10% of the ticket cost to buy exactly the same ticket you could buy for face value on arrival at the station as there no benefit to booking in advance on this trip...)

The Skylink bus is the cheapest. It's a slightly strange journey, as the first part is through North Leicestershire villages and Loughborough town centre, which can be a nightmare at the moment as they work on pedestrianisation. After that, it's virtually non stop into Leicester as it avoids the villages.

I was only intending on providing information through the links, not advising them to actually book. :) Agreed about Loughborough, it is currently a mess! (And will still be so after they've done - and I'm local so I'm allowed to say so !)
