Hi we are staying in Stow-on-the-wold shortly with our two boys age 11 & 5 years. We would like to eat out one evening at a good local pub with atmosphere but don't know which one to go to as they all seems to have good reviews. We obviously would like to go to a pub that are happy to cater for children!? Please help
Have you visited Daylesford Farm shop yet? It is a short drive from Stow, and has shop and cafe / restuarant. It is very famous and attracts the Royals!
You need to check carefully as some pubs do not welcome children in the evenings.
Hi , yes that's why I'm querying which pub to go to!!? and of course so we don't bother anyone without their kids for the evening! we will of course be going out early like 6pm.

And some pubs don't serve dinner until 7pm...
The best pub for atmosphere in Stow on the Wold is the Queen's Head on the square, it's about the only pub in Stow that feels like a proper local. The food is standard pub grub, nothing too fancy but we've been never been disappointed by a meal there and we've been going semi-regularly for almost 10 years.
