Hello again, I aim to arrive in Cheltenham before 10.00am...

Should I wander along to the course, (is there much to see on the way), or am I best to wait and queue for the bus ?

If I arrive about 9 is there a cafe nearby the train station ?

I'm open to any suggestions/recommendations as I am a festival virgin and will be on my own.

Once again , many thanks.

It's rather a long walk from the station to the racecourse - about an hour I would think.

There's definitely a pub opposite the station. Can't recall if there's a cafe or not - pretty sure no, but not 100%.

If you want to walk I'd wander into town (half an hour roughly) where there's plenty of facilities, and a fair amount to see, and walk on to the racecouse when you are ready. There's a bus from the centre if you don't want to/have done enough walking by that stage
