Kids in Plymouth area in the rain...

Anybody got suggestions of what to do with a 13 and 14 year old boy in South Hams (where we are staying) or Plymouth. One of the boys cannot walk long distances. Most successful outing so far was to aquarium and to see Men in Black 3 in the Vue cinema complex - excellent. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When my children were teenagers and we were holidaying in Plymouth they really enjoyed doing activities with the Mountbatten Centre - things like sailing and canoeing. It doesn't matter if it is raining if you are getting wet in the Sound! I don't know if they only do children's activities in the summer holiday but it could be worth contacting them. www.mount-batten-centre.com

Thanks everybody - I really recommend the Big Wheel on The Hoe (and the optional commentary). Great views and if it stops raining great walks along seafront - the renovated Lido is amazing, good cafes either side and harbour cruises available.
