nice supper out with infant? is such a thing even possible?

I will be in St. Ives for about a week in September with my 1 year old baby. I would like to have one nice night out for supper, but find a lot of the more upscale eating places rarely allow infants - or if they do I always feel a bit like a nuisance to the other diners. Any suggestions for a nice supper where I won't feel the baby is a problem? Maybe a nice family dining establishment?

Waterfront Restaurant allow babies and children. They also have a childrens menu. Don't expect any of the restaurants in St Ives to heat any food for you though.

What's the problem with answering an old post? If someone else finds the forum and the question is relevant then they have some answers straight away, surely? Am I missing something?
