3 days Penzance and Conrnwall Trip

Hi! We are couple from London and we will taking train and arrived in Penzance on May for few days visit in Penzance and other interest place in Cornwall. Is that convenient to travel around in public transport like local coaches for day tour or buses? Or we need to rent a car? Many thanks !!!

It all depends on how far you want to go! You can easily visit St Ives by train, it's a lovely journey. Marazion is easy by bus and you can visit St Michaels Mount from there. Lots of other local buses around which give you a lovely journey round the coast or through the countryside. If you are ok staying farily local, and I would suggest you do as you only have a few days, then you will do fine on public transport

If you want a bit more freedom, then you should hire a car. The buses are fine but it would make your holiday a bit more relaxed rather than waiting around for buses to collect you. The area west of Penzance, such as Lamorna Cove, Porthgwarra, Porthcurno and Mousehole has stunning little villages - Mousehole will be the most busy. All are reachable by bus, (maybe not Porthgwarra though). Have a wonderful holiday, whatever you decide to do!

Please visit Marazion, it's very accessible by public buses, do use the open top buses that take you round the surrounding areas.
