Hi there

There are some cosy pubs in Mousehole so plenty of places to eat and drink. For days out look at St Michael's Mount at Marazion, National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, the fishing villages of Mullion, Cadgwith and Coverack on the Lizard peninsula as well as Lizard Point, the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno, Cape Cornwall (way better than Lands End), drive the B3306 from St Just to St Ives, one of the most scenic routes in Cornwall.

It really depends upon how far afield you want to drive bearing in mind that in August, the roads will be very busy.

Hi nicolaCumbria.

You MUST go to the Newlyn Meadery.....it's great. Its basically a themed restaurant with "serving wenches" ideal family or couples restaurant with a difference this particular one is set in an old cinema, (not at all tacky!)...see their website. There are also quite a few in Penzance itself. The main food is Chicken in the Rough with Chips or Salad or half n half.
