Webcams?

From time to time I like to look at Jersey webcams to see what the weather is like and to look forward to my holiday. But the El Tico one hasn't worked for ages, the Surfcam got broken in the storms and hasn't been replaced yet, the Watersplash one is OK but gets a lot of water and debris on it and it is hard to see anything.

And now my favourite one has disappeared - the Oysterbox has revamped its website and as far as I can see the webcam has disappeared! Daft, I know, but I did enjoy checking out the view over St Brelade's Bay every morning!

Does anyone know of any other Jersey webcams?

So it is - thank you. Watched the sun set into the sea the other evening, and looking at a lovely choppy sea right now. Having a really stressful time right now and it is lovely to have a look at the sea and look forward to my holiday in September.

The Splashcam at the Watersplash is here

watersplashjersey.com/surf/splash-cam.aspx

The numbers at the left refer to the different camera positions - hover your mouse over the number to see which is which.

The Surfcam - http://www.madhatter.je/surfcam/ - got damaged in the storms. There is another one on that page, further down, but I can't get it to work on my computer.

The Oysterbox had one on its website, but it doesn't seem to be there any more.

Try these - you will have to scroll down a little

islands-insurance.com/webcam/waterfront-unde…

islands-insurance.com/webcam/waterfront-west…

http://www.gov.je/weather/Pages/webcam.aspx

If you want a list and links to places to see try this

We love Jersey too but can not get there this year - wish there were more webcams or better still HD webcams.

You probably have received replie's ages ago.

I believe the oyster box web cam is working again.

You can search on St Brelades web cam.

Strange there are not more web cams on Jersey.

Guernsey has masses of them [Nest webcams Guernsey]

Thanks. Still can't find the Oysterbox one, but L'Horizon has one:

Rather an odd viewpoint though.

I look at the Splashcam quite often - it was fun in the recent high tides and winds! I do wish someone would pop up there and clean the lens a bit more often though!
