Hen weekend

My friends and I are in the process of organising a hen do for a friend and one of the suggestions has been Jersey. The impression I get is that Jersey is very picturesque and tranquil and not a place for a raucous hen and all her mates....

Please advise if there is plenty of nightlife and places to stay that will take a large group of girls and activities available..

Many thanks

The nightlife in Jersey is very good with great restaurants and bars and good nightclubs in the weighbridge

area. As a hen party you should stay in St Helier where there is a good mix of 3 & 4 star hotels.

Hi There

There's plenty to keep you amused for a weekend here. Base yourselves in St Helier so you'll be close to the nightlife.

A few things to consider...

http://domingosjersey.com/ - I literally would not go ANYWHERE else in Jersey for dinner on a hen do. The food is good, not spectacular, but Dominic will provide you with a party like no where else.

Assuming you're here for 2 or 3 nights you should also book a nice dinner out of Town. St Aubins is easy to reach by bus and on a nice weekend afternoon/evening in the summer is buzzing with likeminded souls. Try The Salty Dog, Boathouse, Cheffins or the Old Court House.

For a friends Hen we hired this... http://jerseycruises.com/

There's also http://www.creepyvalley.je/ or http://www.jerseyadventures.com/ if you're feeling active and adventurous.

If you want a bit of pampering there are several spas that offer day packages. The best are at Hotel De France and the Grand Hotel.

Nightlife wise St Helier has plenty to offer for a weekend. Most of the activity is centered in a square half mile between Royal Square, The Weighbridge & Broad Street. For cocktails try Rojo, Wildfire, Tanguys or the Blind Pig (if you can find it!), for live music Chambers & the Blue Note, for al fresco The Cock & Bottle, Pierson, Royal Yacht, Mimosa or Ha'penny Bridge and for late night (until 2am anyway, when Jersey closes) there's the Royal Yacht, Mimosa & Koko/Kasbar.

If you need anything more specific let me know!
