How far is it on foot from the bus station in st helper to the Monterey hotel
A quick Google about 20 min walk Also on bus routes
About 20/25 minutes pleasant walk through town. If it is raining or you have heavy suitcases, it is worth taking a taxi. Approximate cost will be about £7 from the taxi rank near the bus station to the hotel. If walking, it is worth planning your route in advance. My advice would be to get the bus from the airport to the bus station (£2 a person), then, until you get to know your way around, a taxi. Once you know your route it is an easy walk. If there are more than two of you, it may be just as cheap to get a taxi straight from the airport, depending on the time of day and the traffic. If you do decide to walk, head for the centre of town from the bus station (with the bus station behind you, turn right and then left and walk straight ahead) then head to the central markets. From there your hotel is a stone's throw to the East and anyone should know where St. Saviour's Road is. It is easy to take the wrong route however, hence the need to plan in advance.
