Sunday and taxis

We are planning to take a train from Stamford to Cambridge on Sunday, May 27 arriving at 9:30. We want to attend the 10:30 service at King's College Chapel. Is the train station within walking distance of the chapel? Would it be wiser to take a taxi since we're don't want to be late and are not sure of our walking route? Are taxis readily available at the train station on a bank holiday weekend Sunday morning?

Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest taking a taxi, the station isn't convenient for the city (it's about a mile and a half from the city centre, possibly 30 minutes walk if you don't know where you're going)

You won't have a problem getting a cab, there is a rank right outside the station - will probably cost about £5 (Cambridge taxis are well expensive)

If you have a lot of time spare, there are plenty of coffee shops in and around the market square which is right by King's
