Hi, I am planning a whirlwind trip down to Cornwall from London in June next year. I only have 5 days which I know is kind of ridiculous but Id like to see as much as possible before flying home to Australia. Im not interested in stopping for long lunches etc and with very early starts, I think I can do it. I would like to know if my plan sounds doable!!
Day 2 - Tour Tintagel castle then onto St Ives. Not really fussed about Lands End as have heard its very commercialised. Would love to hear of any little places around there that I should visit. Not sure where to spend this night.
Day 4 - Tour Corfe Castle and steam train then head to Bath for the last night.
Day 5 - Tour Bath then back to London
I know I am not doing this beautiful part of England justice, however I need to at least see the spots I have been dreaming about before heading home. As you can see I'm would rather coastal then inland large cities. I guess Im just worried that I am hugely underestimating how busy your roads get and if it says 3.5 hrs from point A to B then it might actually be more like 5 hrsEdited: 12:09 am, June 10, 2018
