The sailing on the Discovery Coast Passage route is approximately 11 hours from Port Hardy. Depending on the day you sail you may leave at night and arrive in the morning or leave in the morning and arrive at night. The schedule is at bcferries.com/schedules/…dcp-current.html

The main Inside Passage ferry from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert makes a stop at Bella Bella on July 1, 15, 29. This sailing only takes about 5 1/2 hours. This schedule is at bcferries.com/schedules/…ip-current.html

Another alternative is to fly from either Vancouver or Port Hardy with Pacific Coastal Airline http://www.pacific-coastal.com/ . If you are travelling there with gear like kayaks then for a few thousand dollars you could hire a water taxi from northern Vancouver Island (the ferry is much more economical).

If you are coming from northern BC you could also catch the ferry from Prince Rupert on select dates or from Bella Coola. Use the same links above to find out times and dates.
