Trekking among the Treetops

Saw this in the toronto Star. For anyone enjoying an adventurous day hiking, trekking this would be the place to go.

It's "a bouncy stroll across a canopy bridge". See http://www.haliburtonforest.com/canopy.html.

It's a 4 hour adventure involving a paddle in a voyageur canoe, a short hike and then a walk 25 metres above ground on a walkway. The fee also includes admission to the Wolf Centre indoor observatory.

This area also has mountain biking, an observatory to view stars and camping.

The canopy walk is NOT for the faint hearted or anyone with a problem with heights. However, it is a fantastic thing to do.
