Customs Question

Does anyone here know whether there is any prohibition on bringing a couple of those little "airline" bottles of liquor into Canada for personal use? Or a website that would give that information? I sometimes enjoy a gin & diet tonic in the evening, but bars don't stock diet tonic, although they sometimes have diet Coke.

You're allowed to bring in 1.5 litres of wine or 1.4 litres of alcohol for your own personal use, so you should be fine. In fact, feel free to stop at Duty Free.

Thanks, Tobie. It would take a lot of those little bottles to equal that much!

Hello"

As the above poster stated, you are able to bring in alot more than those little airline bottles... Feel free to bring that of course.

Diet tonic..??? I am just wondering if we sell such a thing in this area.

I too am always looking for the diet version of sodas etc...

I really don't think I have seen diet tonic but I may be wrong.

Perhaps to be safe you should pack a little extra.

Have a wonderful trip here.

Regards.

I checked on the Schweppes Canada website and they don't make a diet tonic water. I don't remember seeing anyother brand in the stores, but I wasn't really looking for the diet version. Maybe it exists in Canada!
