Club Intrawest

How is this resort in the summer. We are a family of 4 with 22 and 19 year olds. We like to hike and sightsee. We will be coming from Florida. Any comments will be appreciated.

It is a very nice resort, about ten minutes walk, on pedestrian trails, to the Mont Tremblant resort. Opposite a very nice private beach and tennis club and it is also right on the paved multipupose trail that you can bike, run or roller blade on for many kilometers. Lots of hiking and water sports in the immediate area. It is also on the municipal bus route.

Units are a of a generally high standard, balconies and terraces etc. Onsite pool. Tons of golf too.

It is about a five minute drive to the town of Old Tremblant and about ten minutes from th town of St JOvite, which is where you would grocery shop.

Bog- Thanks for the help. Are boat rentals available? Any scenic car routes?

Lots of boat rentals, both motorised and canoes/kayaks. Some great rivers to voyage along with a picnic in hand as well. Your concierge will have a list of the different options.

Some lovely hikes and walks in the region. Look up sepaq Mont Tremblant, they have a lot of local parks inforamtion. By parks I mean national and provincial parks. Mountains, lake and views.

As for driving routes, certainly there are many. The drive from Tremblant to Lac Superior and La Conception are very lovely. Lots of others as well. A half day trip to Val David and Ste Adele, both small towns with some great places to stop along the way.

The Laurentians are a wonderful summer getaway location for lovers of the outdoors.

Also the night life is very good at Tremblant and even your youngest child is old enough to go in the bars and clubs here. So that can add another element to your visit. The nightlife is not wild, but fun resort based stuff.

Usually a very good week. Lots of outdoor stuff to do and the second weekend should hit the first weekend of the Blues Festival, lots of fun for free.
