Any nice day trips not requiring a river crossing?

Thinking of a day trip from Levi’s-Ile d’Orleans looks good, but an hour from Lévis. Any nice towns south of the river? Thanks.

Parc des chutes : https:/…

You can take route 132... and follow the river on the South side...towards Montreal or towards Rimouski... you will going through small villages.. (I just don't know what you are looking specifically to be "nice towns"... )

What is the rest of your plan so we do not suggest something you might already have done.

and there is a more scenic route to get to the Montmorency Falls; Ile d'Olreans; Ste Anne de Beaupre if that was still an option. It would go via Chemin St Louis and then a detour to route 360 which is the old road that sort of parralels the 138 which you could take on the way back. The distance is only 50 km so not that far to travel it is just slower traffic not like doing an 1hr on the 401.

to keep on route 360 you have to ignore your GPS which wants you to take 138 often unless you change the fastest route option.
