Camping in Massasauga

I'm planning a short weekend canoe trip to Massasauga in September - we're planning to drive out of Toronto on Friday night to a campsite, and then rent canoes and do an overnight in Massasauga.

From what I can tell, there is no drive-in camping at Massasauga, so we'd have to camp the Friday at Oastler Lake, and then head in to Mass. the next day. Can anyone recommend some good camp sites in Massasauga? And which access point is better/more convenient, Pete's Place or the northern one (I think it's Three Legged Lake)?

Your best bet is the Pete's place access. There are a number of sites a short paddle away. One we like is a short portage away from the put in on Conger lake. there are only two sites on Conger. The one we like is the furthest away but still easy to get to in a few hours! Good luck and have fun!
