We will be at South Lake Tahoe mid Sept. Coming from East Texas we are use to 90-100 degrees still. what is the weather going to be like?

A lot cooler than East Texas but still very nice. Here's what it was like last September:

It's never ever that hot in Tahoe. Tahoe is high in the mountains and the hotest it would get during the summer months of July & August woudl be 90 - tops. However because of the high altitude it feels hotter - which is how people actually getinto the cold water with only flinching a little. The humidity is very low so the air is quite dry. The shade is very cool as the air temp is not hot.

I was there in July and it was in the upper 80s - everyone was in the water. - In Sept the weather is perfect. Warm like 70s in the day and cool at night.
