Directions to Crown Resort

HI,

We are traveling by train from Madrid to Crown Resort Calle Monte Paraiso, 29 29650 Mijas, Spain.

Which train station we should get off?

How do we get from the train station to the hotel?

Thanks

Rick, you will need to get the local train from Malaga to Fuengirola and then either a bus (M220) or a taxi to Calahonda. Its not a hotel but a timeshare resort, known as Crown Resorts, Club Calahonda. We own at the sister resort of Club Marbella but have spent several great holidays at Club Calahonda, its a smaller resort but we prefer it to Club Marbella.

If you are intending to take trips around the area there is a very good bus service but you need to walk a way to the bus stop down on the motorway. Club Calahonda do run a mini bus service that goes down to the shops, other Crown Resorts sites and the beaches (Calahonda beach isn't that good - recommend Puerto Cabopino which is just up the coast towards Marbella).

There are supermarkets and restaurants and bars down at El Zocco - bit of a walk back to the apartments with shopping but good value, or at Los Cipresses.

The restaurant at Club Calahonda - The Palm Tree - has entertainment most evenings and has good, well priced food. You can book excusions through the reception if you don't hire a car to get about with.

Here is a link to the Crown Resorts website that will give you more info.
