We were in Ag P last September and stayed at the Prekas apartments. There were quite a few tavernas attached to the apartments but all were low key when we were there. There was one bar opposite the bus stop which we used to go to if we missed the bus! Most people were getting the bus into Skiathos town at night which was very easy to do. 1.80 euro each each way. Took about 15/20 mins and not too busy in September. We loved Skiathos and Ag P.

Hope this has helped.

There are no bars as such, just a few tavernas. The only place with significant numbers of bars is Skiathos town.

Hi PrestonSphinx

Must admit we only found one bar in Ag Paraskevi, so did go into Skiathos Town most evenings. As you say, you like to go out to the bars every night, as we do, then I would find something a bit closer to town.

Also, as much as I loved the island, Ag Paraskevi has nowhere for a walk of an evening, i.e. you have to walk in the busy road to get to most places to eat etc.

It's a lovely place if you like to be in a quiet area though (with transport) as most accommodation is off the main road.
