Options besides Divi Little Bay

Wanted to know if anyone can recommend another resource for renting a timeshare. We are considering the Divi Little Bay. We are a family of 4 with two boys ages 6 and 12. Ideally looking for a 1-2 bedroom. We currently have a reservation with the Westin (hotel not villas) but re-considering based on the location on the island and the water being on the rough side. Any other reco's for places to stay that would be fun for families would be greatly appreicated

I like Royal Islander La Plage in Maho. They are right next to the airport & the boys would probably find it exciting to see the planes landing & taking off.

There is a nice pool, a small beach & easy driving distance to Mullet Bay beach. They can be timeshare traded into.

The Westin is a very corporate like hotel, not at all island-like in feel.

tons of timeshare on the island. if you are trading for a property it of course will all depend on availability.

we like to stay in the simpson bay area. there is the atrium, lavista, lavista beach, royal islander, flamingo (diamond/sunterra or whatever they call it these days) etc etc........great area. lots of rest in walking distance. groceries, beach, bars, casino (if you are into that). it is hard to beat.

as stated above.....the maho area is also a good choice. but i think there are less timeshare resorts in the area.

it all depends on what you want to be close to. if you have a car and don't mind driving, then it broadens your options.

i think if you narrow down the area you want to be in you will get a lot more specific recommendations on which timeshares are best.

Thanks again for the responses. I ended up renting a 3 bedroom Condo Timeshare at the Westin Dawn Beach Club through an owner on redweek.com. Going the first week in April, wish it was sooner.
