The snorkelling from the beach around Lovina is less than average, but you can catch a boat to a slightly better offshore reef - but still not considered to be "good" by most experienced people. For waterfalls and the Buddhist Monastery, you'll need to organise a driver to take you.

The hotel is situated about 2.5km to the west of Lovina, if taking the dophin statues as central.

Here is the forum pinned thread with snorkelling information. But with just one day in Lovina, you really don't have time.

Pemuteran is the closest area, about 1 hour 15 minutes west of Lovina, but for Menjangen, you'd need to get an early start if you wanted to catch a dive shop boat to the island. Or you could perhaps arrange a private boat. But it would take most of the day, not allowing time for the other sightseeing you wanted to do in the north.

Lovina isn't that great for snorkelling. For accommodation, we enjoyed staying at The Lovina resort which is beachfront with a lovely restaurant.

You'll be happy at Villa Agung, we've stayed there many times, for up to 2 weeks at a time. Great food.
