In Orlando - want to swim in the ocean tomorrrow

Hi. We'd like to spend our last day of vacation at the beach. We are all strong swimmers. The least amount of driving is preferred, but we are open to anything. Based on current beach conditions, any recommendations? Thanks!

Don't know about beach conditions but if you're close to Disney you could go to Clearwater Beach or Cocoa Beach. About the same distance from there. if you're downtown or in east Orlando than Cocoa is closer. Clearwater has softer, whiter sand and clearer water. Cocoa has waves and is slightly quieter.

Beach conditions at Cocoa Beach should be excellent. There haven't been serious jellyfish or seaweed problems lately, and the water's about 80 degrees.

This isn't the best surf forecast, but it's free.

There will still be some smallish waves left from hurricane Rafael, but nothing comparable to this weekend. And here's a reasonably reliable beach camera just south of Cocoa Beach:

It's part of a website that should have some visual observations at the surfing forum by 8 am.

National Weather Service prediction for Cocoa Beach tomorrow:

"Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Light and variable wind becoming north northeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning."
