moving from alaska

We are planing on driving through alaska, canada to california pulling a 20' trailer starting October 16th. Any advice, suggestions, iformation about the weather and road conditions we should be aware of during this time especially driving through the yukon.

That time of year, almost anything is possible - snow in the passes is highly likely, as it's already very low on the mountains even at Whitehorse. The only advice I can give is to go prepared. Keep your fuel tank topped up - most highway lodges will be closed and almost all of the others are on much-reduced hours, so driving all-nighters is all but impossible.
