Eastern Townships

Looks like hardly anyone posts on the forums for the Eastern Townships area, so I'll try Montreal. Hope I'm not out of line....

I need to know some info about travel times between the towns and villages. We're going to be pretty much all around -- the Wine Route (Dunham, Lac Brome areas), Magog, North Hatley, Orford, Coaticook. My question is, not knowing just how mountainous these areas are and the quality of the roads, is travel pretty quick, or does it take added time to drive on the roads? Just some general info on this is what I'm asking. In addition, if anyone wants to add "must see sites," I would appreciate that. We'll be visiting in late September and early October. Thanks!

Travel is definitely quick; it is not as mountainous as you might think. I'm sure you will enjoy the area, especially at that time of year.
