Getting from airport to Intercontinental Hotel

I am planning a short trip with my husband staying at the Intercontinental. What is the best way to get from the airport to the hotel? We don't plan to rent a car and prefer to walk where we can. What are some of the top sites in Old Montreal? Thank you.

Taxi ($38 + tip) or the 747 bus ($8 per person, which includes a 24h transit pass) are the most common ways, although if you take a look at the top questions in the upper right, you'll find more details.

For top sites in Old Montréal: these are also described in better detail than we can here under the Things to Do section to the left, or perhaps my favourite page in all of Trip Advisor: tripadvisor.ca/Travel-g155032-s1/…Inside.html

And you're right: you don't need a car here -- your feet, the transit system, and if you're adventurous, the Bixi bikes, will take you almost everywhere you want to go with no parking hassles.

Best way... Transporter from Star Trek or a Tardis, if you can find one.

A Tristou mentioned, Taxi is $38 plus tip, no extras. The bus is $8 per person with a one day pass or $16 with a three day pass. You get off at the corner of Jeanne Mance and Rene-Levesque (Stop 60683) and walk west to Bleury, then turn south and the hotel is at the corner of Bleury and St-Antoine.
