hotel for college co-eds

Hi,

Three 19 year old females will be in Montreal this weekend and would like a recommendation for a hotel in a good location for weekend fun. We would like to spend around $150US per night for the room. Has anyone heard of L'appartement? If so is that a good location? Also could you please provide club recommendations.

Thanks

Hi fissy

L'appartement is on Sherbrooke street west which is two blocks north of Ste. Catherine street, and their prices are over C$160.00 plus taxes per night. That means you three will pay about C$200.00 per night. The only thing is they have kitchenetts, if you are coming here for a week-end are you interested in cooking by yourself or enjoying out? If so why pay so much?

Book a private room in a hostel, once again I would recommend hostel inn tourist on Ste. Catherine street, if you are three girls their price for a private room with attached toilet and shower would be CAD45.00 each tax included. You are more centrally located than that and you can use the saved money on food or shopping. There are many clubs on Bishop and Crescent street which is only 2 minutes walk from inn tourist.

Thanks for the recommendation but the hostel is sold out. We have booked a room at L'Apartement. Do you know anything about it? How far a walk to good clubs? Can you suggest some good clubs in the area for 19-20 year olds.

Thanks

When you arrive you take a downtown map from the hotel l'apartment or go to the tourist office located on Ste.Catherine street crossing of peel street, it would be easier if you have a map.

1.Crescent Street

2. Bishop Street

3. St. Laurent Street

4. St. Denis Street

all of the above streets are within walking distance and you can find plenty of clubs and bars. Have a good time.
