Family vacation to Quebec 3 weeks lots of Skiing -Advice pls

So we're a husband ,wife and 2 girls. Coming from the prairies to Quebec for a 3 week ski (mostly) holiday late January. We plan on renting a car and want to go to Mt. Tremblant for a few days at the very least and will visit Montreal and Quebec City for a few days each to break up the ski trip.

15 year old daughter is looking for the best poutine on the planet...lol.

Wife wants to eat at Au Pied de Cochon... Sunday brunch ??

Husband wants a monstrous smoked meat sandwich ??

Any other thoughts and or suggestions would be appreciated.

Poutne at Le Banquise in Montreal is not to be missed. Followed up with poutine at Smokes in Mont Tremblant.

Smoked meat sandwich, monstrous variety, at Schwartz's Deli in Montreal.but really best bet is to post in the three separate forums, Montreal, Quebec City and Mont Tremblant, to get the best help. Tell people what you need help with and you will get lots.

I agree with Schwartz's the atmosphere of the deli really adds to the sandwich itself.....the poutine selection at la banquise makes multiple trips necessary just to make an informed decision.....the bio dome in Montreal would be a good idea for a day IMO....

Indeed put requests on each city / area to get the best advices. Writing on all 3 I can tell you a bit more.

Poutine, La Banquise yes and Smoke's too (they have one in Mt-Tremblant and one in Mtl in the Concordia ghetto). Different riff on the same theme at Poutineville.

Poutine over the top then yes APDC.but I really doubt that they are doing brunch. Not featured on their website anyways.

Schwartz for smoked meat, of course but their sandwiches are not sky high like at the delis in NYC. So a small plate will give you enough to fill yourself.

If you visit Mont-Tremblant while going there or when coming back, whatever will be in a week-end then I suggest a detour through Montebello for the brunch at the iconic Fairmont Château Montebello, way better than the Fairmont in Tremblant. Nearby Parc Omega is open in winter and if you decide to stay overnight then all of the Fairmont outdoorsy activities will be available. Great cross country skiing but no alpine skiing and even a curling ice rink!

Near Québec City there is good ski available at Mont-Saint-Anne, all kind of other winter activities at Village Vacance Val Cartier. If you want to move a bit farther Northwest from Qc then Le Massif has stunning slopes and sometimes you can have most of the mountain just for you!

Le Massif, northeast of Québec City, will provide you with killer views that no other ski resort could ever match
