Liquor stores?

Coming over from either the bridge or the tunnel. Are there any liquor stores on the way to Caesars casino? Since there won't be free beverages while we're gaming, figured to "tune up" in the room beforehand.

Thanks,

Curly

There is an LCBO just west of the Casino at 400 University Avenue West. (corner of University and Church)

From the Tunnel...turn left out of the tunnel and turn right on Ouellette (first street). Turn left on University (first street) and travel about .5 mile. LCBO is on your right.

From the Bridge...turn immediately right from Customs and head back towards the river. Turn right on Riverside Drive. Go approximately 1.5 miles. As you see our Art Gallery (Glass building on the right side of the road) watch for Bridge. Turn right on Bridge. Go to University.

The other suggestion is that you pick up Duty Free on your way over. MUCH CHEAPER!

Where is a duty free store? Sorry, not a very experienced border crosser. :-)

Hi;

Just a reminder...

Currently, you need photo ID (i.e. driver’s license) AND your birth certificate for Customs on both sides of the border, OR a passport.

We have passports. Thanks for the friendly reminder anyhow, always best to have more info than needed rather than not enough!

If you are coming over by tunnel, the duty free shop is to the immediate right after you pay your tunnel fare.

At the bridge, the AmEx is also located after you pay your toll. Larger complex, more to offer. With the construction going on around the bridge, I am not sure how you approach the AmEx now, but there used to be signs up to follow. I am sure it is very easy to get to.
