Just north of King on John is The Ballroom ... has many things "ball" related even bowling alleys.

Try The Raq on Queen W...it's a bar too....see site below................The Academy near Liberty Village would have been perfect, but closed down just a few months ago after being in business for years.....

Is the "raq" the new version of "raq and waq"? I know raq and waq was pretty cool, the new website seems a little on the lame side...

I know you want a downtown location but I see you are from Toronto so I'll give you a place in case some other time you find yourself in Etobicoke and are looking for the same thing. It's called The Crooked Cue located on Bloor in the Kingsway. It's a nIce upscale pool hall but it is a bit pricey though....yet very classy.

Thanks for all the info...lots of choices..We used to play pool at Milwaukee's on Lombard St. in the early 90's but it appears to be close?

NIce to meet you. I'm Toronto born and bred (Etobicoke actually) and have been in Burlington 15 years. I still work in Toronto and hang out there often.

Funny, I don't know of any fancy billiard halls here in town although admittedly I don't play much pool these days. I don't think there's anything that I know of. I've heard of Boston Manor but I think that's more of a dump. Have a good night out..
