I'm pretty certain your teens will like Canada's Wonderland, a massive amusement park, located north of Toronto, in Vaughan..............how old are they, boys/girls, both..? (a 13 year old girl will have different interests than an 19 year old)

Where are you staying, for how long, etc.................for optimum feedback, please provide more information.................what do they like to do.....?

To the right side of this screen the heading "Top questions about Toronto" provides lots of good information in terms of what to do, where to eat/stay etc.

In the green bar at the top of this page you will see "Things to do" Best of 2012, etc.............................

Read through some these topics.................there is a wealth of good information for visitors.............

Welcome to TripAdvisor, nick;

The Province of Ontario is;

• approximately 1,076,395 sq. km / 415,598 sq mi.

• larger than France, Spain and the Netherlands combined.

• more than 1/10th the size of Canada.

• more than 4 times the size of the UK.

• more than 8.25 times the size of England.

• about the same size of the US states of Texas & Montana combined.

Toronto is Canada’s largest city, 4th largest in Canada & the US after New York, Los Angeles & Chicago. You could spend an entire week in Toronto and still have plenty to see and do.

Niagara Falls is approx. 80 miles / 130 km southwest of Toronto. The average drive is about 1½ hours, without any traffic delays.

As my esteemed colleague Eden7 has commented, it would be helpful if you provided some additional information.

What are your family's interests ?

How long are you planning for this trip ?

What is your budget ?

How long (hours or miles) do you wish to drive each day, or will you be using public transportation to get from one city to another ?

The more information you provide the more detailed replies you will receive.

Best Regards

Your possibilties are endless. Are you staying in Toronto the entire duration of your trip and how long are you coming for? Your question is quite vague...perhaps if you offer up some more info like eden and rescue team suggested you'll have far better feedback.

Not sure where you are coming from but for some reason Im thinking the UK!

Anyway,

Canada's Wonderland [theme park, masses of rollercoasters etc]

CN Tower

Baseball Game at the Rogers Centre [check the online schedule for the Toronto Blue Jays Major League Baseball team]. I took my sisters family to this when they visited from the UK, they are big cricket fans and they loved the whole Baseball atmosphere.

Canadian Hockey Hall of Fame

Royal Ontario Museum

Mcmichael Gallery [Canadian art and big collection of the Group of Seven artwork]

Toronto Zoo [their reasonably new Arctic Exhibit]

Maybe check out the various theatres that all have top shows playing at any one time. For instance right now there is War Horse, La Cage Aux Folles etc.

I second the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) - superb Natural History exhibits include an awesome Dinosaur Gallery and Earth Science (geology, minerals, gems).

The St. Lawrence Market is fun and particularly vibrant on Saturday mornings - food and craft booths, etc. From there you can walk to Harbourfront which has music/culture festivals on summer weekends, an outdoor Craft market, restaurants and patios overlooking the islands and sailboats, scenic boat tours, etc.

Like others have pointed out, if you let us know how long you will be here, whether you will be renting a car, and any specific interests, there are more recommendations that can be made.

I'd definitely recommend Canada's Wonderland and the CN Tower.

Hello.

Welcome to Trip Advisor. Are you wanting ideas for just Toronto or other parts of Southern Ontario?

If you do want to have a few day trips from Toronto I would highly recommend taking the kids to Niagara Falls. It is a short drive from Toronto and you can get there in a variety of ways. Going on the amazing Maid of the Mist (which brings you basically right to the falls in a boat) would be a highlight. And you don't need advance tickets for the Maid of the Mist, you just show up.

As far as Toronto.. the CN Tower is a popular attraction and as mentioned above Wonderland is also a great place that most kids like. If your kids like shopping the Eaton Centre is a mall in downtown Toronto that many visitors enjoy.
