Hi, Mark;

Panorama Lounge as mentioned above is a great place for a drink with a romantic night view of the city. It's best if you can go outside onto one of the terraces, especially the south one which looks downtown.

For romantic dinners we like Scaramouche, which is up on the bluff & also has a great view of the skyline.

We've also had great romantic dinners at Canoe & C5 at the Royal Ontario Museum.

And if you like seafood & are looking for something a little less pricey than any of those above, Starfish has a very nice ambience and is not too busy so you could snuggle into a nice evening there:

You don't say when you will be here, but if the weather cooperates you could have a nice romantic walk on the boardwalk by the lake in The Beach neighbourhood, then have a nice dinner in one of the many local restaurants on Queen Street East.

Hope that helps!

Yes it helps a lot!

We'll be in Toronto next weekend for 3 days.

Can you go to Panorama Lounge only for drinks or is it more like a resaurant?

Where is the The Beach neighbourhood? What street between what?

Is it possible the get a glass of wine at the top of CN tower at night/ evening?

We've gone to Panorama & just had drinks without any problems.

CN Tower- not too sure if you can take a free ride up if you're only having a drink, or whether that only applies to diners. You may have to pay to get up. Hopefully others here with better knowlegeg can clarify.

The Beach is a great neighbourhood in the east end starting at around Woodbine Avenue & running east (maps in the links below). It's reached by taking the #501 streetcar that runs along Queen Street eastbound (It will say Neville Park on the front) Here are a few links for further reading:
