Restaurants near ROM/Steamwhistle Brewery

Greetings and salutations.

Three friends and I will be hitting the downtown area the weekend of June 13-15. Part of the plan is to visit the ROM and/or the Steamwhistle Brewery, then have dinner somewhere within walking distance of said locations. We're not sure if we're hitting one or both, or in which order. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations that you may have.

Please keep in mind that we'll be wearing comfort-wear: sneakers/sandals, jeans/shorts and t-shirts/tank tops. Changing in between visit and dinner won't be an option (hotel in Markham, taking the subway downtown.) We'd also like to limit ourselves to about $20 for an entrée. There's a "meatarian" in the group, so vegetarian/vegan restaurants are out.

Thanks so much! (I hope there aren't too many restrictions...)

I posted some restaurant options near the ROM a few days ago: tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g155019-i55-k20111…

"Comfort-wear" is acceptable in all of these places.

The Steamwhistle brewery is steps from the Entertainment District, where the options are endless. I like Pizza Rustica, at the corner of Blue Jays Way and Wellington - http://www.pizzarustica.ca - but I haven't been there in a couple of years, so I can't guarantee that the quality hasn't changed.

If you guys like Sushi at all, there's a good place near Steamwhistle. Walk south on Rees St. to Harbourfront, then take a left. It's called Ichiban Sushi. It has a yellow sign. They have teriyaki, etc. too.
