attractions packages?

OK, I've booked our room at the Marriott Courtyard. Tried to get the $207 2-nite package that I read about in this forum, but the price goes up significantly for July! It's now $489.95. I just booked the room without the package and it's costing $419.90. Do you think I could get a better rate?

Also, is there a package price for attractions? I don't see one on the tourism site. Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure which tourism site you used....was it this one???

Because this package for 2 adults and 2 kids comes up on the selection at the Radisson:

Thanks for the tips. I'm now booked at Radisson for $429 includes:

2 nites

maid of the mist

journey behind falls

white water walk

butterfly conserv, which we won't do this time

incline railway

dinner for 2 - tony romas or outback

imax

people mover

minolta tower

supersaver family funpack coupons??

What's in the funpack? Would they be coupons for wax museum, etc.?

Anyone stayed in this hotel? We're supposedly in an upgraded room. Are the beds comfortable?

This was a recent post on the NF forum:

<<<< I stayed at the Radisson 3 years ago in August, and it was GREAT, it's in a great location within everything, there are restaurants such as the Outback, TGIF'S etc. Right across the street from it, about a 1 minute walk, the Casino is about 5 minute walk, and the falls are about a 5 minutes away, and Clifton Hill is about 10-15 minute walk, the Minolta tower is about a 1 minute walk, it's right across the street from the Radisson aswell, (when I was there the Radisson gave us free tickets to the Minolta Tower, and so we went, and got a great view It's great!

The Hotel is in a great location and you can get a terrific view of the falls if you get a room with a falls view, the hotel offers valet parking so that is good. The rooms are nice and big, with ceiling to floor window, nice mini fridges, the beds are comfy and big, the bathrooms are nice and clean.

The service is very polite. The hotel has an arcade, when my kids wanted to play, I only had money in bill form, so I gave them 5 dollars Canadian and they went to the front desk and asked for coins, they then gave him 5 dollars in American Quarters! That is how nice they are.

And One last thing that your two young children will enjoy is the pool, when I went my kids were 12-10, and they couldn't really swim in the day because the pool was CROWDED with young children, so we had to wait until 1 hour to 30 minutes before the pool closed to go swimming as all the kids were sleeping at that time, so your kids will enjoy playing with the other kids in the pool.

Overall this hotel is great, and I STRONGLY suggest you go to this hotel!

Pibb,>>>>>

Glad you booked there, it sounds like you'll have a great time.

Marriott Courtyard - Good choice!!! I know JMat & Traceylynne will give you thumbs up on that choice, too ;)

Rates in Niagara Falls skyrocket during July & August at all of the hotels in the area.

It really is a great deal to get the two night package there because although you are spending an additional $70, you're getting $50 for dinner one evening, and four breakfasts. The hot & cold buffett breakfast in the morning runs for around $23.00CDN + taxes per adult, and you would be getting four of those, so if you're breakfast eaters the package really is the best deal to do. And the buffett is wonderful as well, they have an omlette station, fruits, bagels, etc as well as sausage, french toast- everything you could want for breakfast.

I'm not sure about any attraction packages in the area, but you can also arrange a package with the Courtyard through reservations. It's called the Elite Tour of Niagara package, and it includes transportation and prioriety admission for a lot of attractions in the area including the Bird Aviary, Butterfly conservatory, Maid of the Mist, Journey Behind the Falls, etc. Might be worth looking into as well. :)
