Restaurant Itinerary for 3 days and Keeping it Cheap

We are heading to Niagara Falls for my 40th birthday with our 2 boys-8 and 10. Trying to keep the trip as cheap as humanly possible. We are spending our first night in Syracuse (driving 3/4 way up after kids baseball game on a Saturday evening), 2 nights at Four Points by Sheraton Niagara Falls and are unsure if we will stay one more night there or leave around dinner time and drive part way home and split the drive again. We will have 2 vouchers each for $10 at IHOP, $20 at Outback Steakhouse, and $40 at Keg.

So (in Niagara Falls) we have at least:

2 breakfasts

3 lunches

2 dinners

I've read IHOP is ridiculously expensive, not sure what that means and if it even pays to use them. Flying Saucer looks like it may be a better deal for breakfasts even without the voucher.

Lunch-I'm thinking of using the Keg vouchers for lunch-thinking with 2 kids meals and 2 burgers/sandwich type things we won't be that much over our voucher.

Dinners-Q Street Pizza and either Swiss Chalet or Betty's? They'd probably HATE us, but could use Outback vouchers for dessert:)

Would love opinions and to know if anyone has actual prices for IHOP or Outback.

I just confirmed that the $40 groupon voucher for The Keg is valid for lunch or dinner.

Kids meals are $10.95 each

Salmon Burgers or Cheese Burgers are $13.95 each

$50 plus our drinks/tax tip- $40 voucher-that's not a bad price for lunch.

Don't forget the 13% tax on top of all the prices. $10.95 becomes $12.37 and $13.95 becomes $15.76.

And they might try to add another 2-3% Destination Marketing Fee - tell them to remove it.

What would that be for? Who adds it? Wondering if it is the wait staff or restaurant. Do you happen to know how much sodas are? Trying to figure our total. 13% is a lot of tax! $56.26 plus drinks and tip now...

Where did you get the voucher for The Keg? Is it still available?

Tim Hortons is such an efficient way to eat breakfast :)

The Keg does have a children's menu. Just limit the soda for that one. IHOP is not worth what they charge. Too much $$$. Have coffee in your hotel and bring in something from a bakery or fruit from the store. One night, we brought in sandwiches from "The Famous" and had a relaxing dinner in the room.
