art galleries and antiques/junk shops near cruise port

Hello, we will be in town on a cruise. Are there any art galleries (hopefully with photo exhibits) or antique shops/junk shops near the cruise port? We don't mind walking a mile or two, weather permitting.

Thanks!

Since you posted in the New Brunswick forum, I think you mean near the Saint John cruise port? Just wanted to make sure that's the case.

Here is a list of galleries saintjohnartscentre.com/sample-page-2/…. There is a list here if you scroll down that has links: …uptownsj.com/group/…list-of-uptown-shops-ak.

There is a pawn shop near the port - http://www.portcitypawnshop.com/. Not sure if that is what you are looking for and have never been in to give an opinion on what it is like. There is also http://www.roysarmysurplus.com/. Again, no experience here.

I can't think of any antique stores right off uptown - there may be, I just may not know about them.

Germain St has some neat little shops you might enjoy.

And now I realize that this was in the Saint John forum - so you can ignore my clarification about the port you were wondering about. :)
