Where to stay at Creekside

We want to stay in a suite or condominium situation which is in the Creekside area near the Taluswood home of our friends. Problem is that we would like to stay in the under $200 per night range.....in February, which is high season. Are we out of our minds? We HAVE found the Lake Placid Lodge, but anything looks good in pictures. Has anyone stayed there? And/or does anyone have suggestions for other alternatives? Any advice will be appreciated.

Have you looked at the Legends located right at the creekside gondola. Should definitely be able to get a one bedroom with kitchen for under $200 during weekdays. The Legends is literally brand new having opened only 2 years ago. All untis come equipped with kitchen.

Lake Placid Lodge is pretty good (now !!) It is almost fully updated. Great outdoor pool, hugh 25-person hot tub, great new BBQ by poolside. Nice and cozy inside in my suite that connects to the pool. Far enough not to be noisy but close enough to walk out to the BBQs.
