Whale Watching

Hey, we will stay in Tofino end of June and want to do some Whale watching. I´ve heard that www.archipelagocruises.com are the best.. (if i check in TA) But they are stayed in Ucluelet which means we have to drive 1 hour to them and 1 hour back to do the 5 hours tour.. any suggestions for a similar (good) trip in Tofino?

The above link is to the Things to Do in Tofino. Why don't you have a look at Jamie's at #13 and then some of the other companies operating out of Tofino.

To clarify, Archipelago Cruises is in Ucluelet - you are correct. The drive between the 2 towns is only 1/2 hour, not 1 hour. Long Beach is not located in either of the 2 towns, but between them. So that means, if you want to go to Long Beach, you can stay at either place and if driving between the 2 towns, you will drive through Long Beach. Archipelago Cruises trip is definitely worthwhile (although Jamies is a good suggestion). They have won # 3 world wide on Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice awards in 2013. The trip is on a luxury cabin cruiser and is twice as long as other trips. The tour can be booked with an optional lunch from Norwoods - highly recommended. You will want to visit both towns while you are here any way. Ucluelet is home to the Wild Pacific Trail www.wildpacifictrail.com and the Ucluelet Aquarium www.uclueletaquarium.org.
