RV from Vancouver... help required

Never visited Canada before and we have booked an RV on the 29th May for 10 days and I just don't know how far we can plan to travel in that time... Ideally we would hope to make it to Calgary or Banff but we don't to be driving 24/7 and would like to relax and take in some scenery. The trouble is that information on journey times and campsites is scarce so any help in a possible itinery would be appreciated... also any information sites (both web and camp)that are quite good and inexpensive would be really helpful.

Hi nicky,

Not to worry. As long as your hair dryer uses 110 current, it will work in the rv. But, this is where my comments about the electric hook-up become important. If you are not in a site with an electrical connection, and you don't have a generator in the rv, none of the electrical outlets in the rv will work and so neither will your hair dryer.

So, when you pick up your rv, ask if it comes with a generator. If it doesn't, and you are going to want to fix your hair on a particular day, you will have to ensure that you camp in a spot with electricity.

Have a great vacation!
