Walking, blading or biking around Stanley Park is a good start.

Hiking the Grouse Grind or just taking the Gondola up and staying for a drink or dinner as the sun sets on downtown Vancouver is pretty spectacular.

If you Like the Blues. The Yale on granville st. has awesome entertainment every night.

Granville Island Market is a bit on the touristy side, but it's got great shops, food and it's a great place to see a play at the theaters there.

Lynn Canyon suspension bridge is on the North Shore (same as the more famous Capilano Suspension bridge). But it's free, not as busy and has much better hiking around it.

If you've got a vehicle, I would suggest a day trip to the sunshine coast by way of Ferry. Several quaint seaside villages nearby.

Don't miss Stanley Park. There is a walkway now all the way the Cruise ship Terminal.

We found a fantactic deal. A New small Ferry cruise has started up,called Stanley Park Ferries. We had a wonderful cruise of Coal Harbour for 20min. for only $8.00. WELL worth it !

I agree with the other posts. Without doubt the seawall at Stanley Park is the best part of Vancouver. And it's free!

Stanley Park definitely, but also The Vancouver Art Gallery to see Emily Carr works for an unbelievably powerful vision of BC.

A sunset picnic at Spanish Banks or Jericho beach is always nice. We put our wine in plastic reusable water bottles.
