Greyhound bus has several trips per day.

Air Canada has several trips per day.

Rent a vehicle.

The shortest driving route is the Coquihalla Toll Highway (Hwy 5); it only costs $10 Cdn for a passenger vehicle or RV. That route will take 3 1/2-4 hours, not including stops for food or fuel.

It's not worth the money to fly!

I drive it quite regularly and it's about three hours for us.

Rent a car or take a greyhound bus. They have express buses that take about four hours!

If you're starting from Surrey, then that would explain why it would take 3 hours. Starting from Vancouver - specifically downtown - 4 hours sounds about right, as traffic can be heavy getting out of the city and onto the highway.
