There will be a Greyhound bus but most likely you will have to to Edmonton then up to Grande Prairie. You also can fly but you would have to get from Jasper to Edmonton.

According to the Greyhound website, www.greyhound.ca , the bus leaves Jasper at 7 am, transfers in Edmonton and arrives in GP at 6:55 pm. Note that there is no indoor waiting area in Jasper and nowhere to wait indoors to watch for the bus, which is sometimes late. The train/bus station is not open that early and there is only an unheated shelter. If the bus is late, there is no one who can give you any information on how long it will be. One time when my father was visiting and leaving on the bus to get to the airport to get his flight home, we waited (in my running car) in -25C weather for over an hour before the bus showed up.

The only other options for getting to Edmonton are the VIA Rail train twice a week ( www.viarail.ca ), and the Sundog shuttle, which is more expensive than Greyhound, but will pick you up at your door. The Sundog does drop off at West Edmonton Mall at 11:30. The Greyhound depot is downtown but it should be possible to get there from the mall using Edmonton transit (the bus to GP leaves at 2 pm).
