To live in Jasper, do you have to have a job there?

To occupy residential housing (which can be owned by anyone), you have to meet the definition of an "eligible resident"; here is the page with information from the Jasper National Park website: pc.gc.ca/eng/…plan5c.aspx
The town's footprint is fixed under federal legislation; housing, both availability and affordability, has been a chronic problem... since before I arrived over 30 years ago, and it's still ongoing, with only four more plots of land available for residential development.
