I would strongly recommend that you DO NOT camp in the Lake Louise campground. This campground is next to a level crossing, which means you will have loud train whistles at random times of the night. If you are RVing, you will be much happier at the Tunnel Mountain campground in Banff, which is just 30-45 mins away from Lake Louise.

In Jasper, the Whistlers and Wapiti campgrounds are both very nice. Again, if you have an RV, be prepared to camp without hookups. Both campgrounds are good for tenting; make sure, though, that if you are tenting you are *not* put into a site next to RVs; RVs can be surprisingly noisy when the furnaces go on at night.
