It has come to my attention that there are still hotel guests that don't leave a tip for the people that work so hard making sure the hotel rooms are clean, tidy and up to the expected standards. I am not sure everyone traveling realizes that the housekeeping staff at hotels (speaking to Baja hotels at least) are paid a minimum wage and rely on the tips of the hotel guests to earn enough to help support their families, so please, when you stay in a hotel (or any other type of lodging using housekeeping) remember to leave a tip! These people work incredibly hard at making certain your rooms are in excellent shape for your stay, and they count on those of us lucky enough to be able to visit for their support. We tip for restaurant and bar service, but occasionally neglect those that change our beds, bring clean towels, etc.

Thanks to all of you that do treat these hard-working people with kindness.
