Everything Hard Rock Vallarta

OK-- looks like we are leaning to HRPV for summer vacation. It is beating out Playacar Palace, HR Cancun, and Beach Palace. My teens decided it was their favorite. We were there two years ago so just want to make sure several of their favorite things are unchanged:

--Do they still have sushi during day outside at the grill ?

--Still offer the zip lining as one of the $1500 Resort credit options ?

--Anyone hear when the new spa will open ?

any other changes== positive or negative in last two years that are noteworthy ??

Yes, zip lining tours are still options with resort credits. Have not seen sushi at outside grill for lunch, but also haven't looked. Also not heard anything about a new spa opening - there is construction on the street side for a convention center. Spa is currently beachfront to the right when facing the sea.

Great property, having a lovely time. Wish it was easier for us to get to PV over Cancun as we would be here much more often.

We were there this past January and it seems like a lifetime ago with this winter we have been having!

Yes construction for a new convention center and the spa, they will be adding a hydrotherapy area but my guess is it will still be another year before it is done.

They were also working on a new kids club area.

I posted a review of our trip with pictures of the construction

Have fun we did!
