UK People!

Thinking of booking a trip in February to celebrate my husbands birthday, just curious as to where all the people booking from the UK are staying. We have stayed in several Rius over the last few years and am thinking along those lines again (you know what you're getting in a Riu). Just wondered which were the more popular hotel choices.

I'm going to make sure we get over to this side of Mexico before Thomson/First Choice remove it from the brochures, I didn't get chance to try Brazil or Costa Rica before they disappeared! Did manage to get to Aruba while they still flew from Manchester though :)

Hi everyone, this is my first post on this board.

My 13 year old son and I are travelling to stay at the Riu palace Pacifico for 2 weeks on July 17th. First time to Mexico, first time AI for 11 years. But really starting to look forward to it.

Only decided yesterday, booked today, so 69 days and counting :)

Thank you JoLee, I'm slowly ploughing through them and through the forums :) I'm so pleased to read that its ok to venture out to local towns and things, I don't like being "trapped" in a resort and I hadn't done a lot of research about this place, found it on a Wednesday and booked it on the Thursday morning (checked hotel reviews before I did, but didn't find out a great deal about the resort lol)

Not much close by,other than Resorts. Nuevo(new)Vallarta is Beach area..Long long stretch of beach with condos, resorts and private homes.

Bucerias to the North ,to south of Rius is Paradise Village ,Small mall.

Bus at door of the Palace will take you to Pt.Vallarta,cheap.fun to do.

Joy.
