Marival Resorts?

Hi, planning a trip to PV in June with my wife and daughters (9,7). My travel agent recommended the Marival because she says it’s family friendly. I was reading reviews and a lot of the complaints were about them pushing their time shares.

Is this resort ok? I was also considering the Marriot. Any suggestions?

There are 2. The Resort ( Grand and old walk up Club section). And newer Residences, which is Not on beach and use the facilities at Resort, beach club.

Good family all inclusive.

All resorts that have units ,,try to sell weeks, and push the time share. marival is no worse than others. Mayan resorts are far worse.. just say NO.

Better beach at Marival.,Nuevo. Marriott is in Marina area.

Rius are other good All Inclusives.in Nuevo, same price range .no time share..

Dreams good but Time share.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Bezerk! Since the food is bit great, are there street vendors or other food options close by? Walking distance or do we take a cab everywhere?

The time share BS is when you first get there. Just say no I'm tired and not interested and they will banter a bit and then leave you alone. it only takes about five mins, they sit you down and show you the resort layout....bla bla Just say no , I'm tired and then they will give you the room keys etc. After that it is a nice resort. ask to stay in the "Grand" section it has been upgraded and has elevators. stayed there 8 times so if you need questions PM me. Cheers and happy travels!
