Pools and shopping at barcelo

Hi just wondering if there are any zero entry pools at the barcelo complex and where they are if any. Also any details about shopping arcade at resort would be appreciated.

I know at the Palace there is a section of the main pool that is zero entry.

There is shopping 'mall' of sorts behond the Colonial/Tropical sections. You can wasily walk to it from any part of the complex, or catch a shuttle. Not bad selection, a couple of jewelry/silver shops, a convenience store for sodas and snacks, a few gift shops and some outside stalls.

The pool on the Colonial side close to the swim up bar has a zero entry point.

Plaza Mexicana is at the Colonial section by their lobby area. They hold 'fiestas' there several nights a week featuring local vendors in the courtyard just outside the shops. (FYI - since you are traveling with an infant - this is also where the 24-hour medical clinic is located and they have very good pediatric facilities there).

Yes, the Colonial pool has a zero entry access area, but be careful as the tiles get very slippery from the sun tan lotions!
